Watching Your New TV . . .  & What You Put in the Garbage

Most people probably think of it already, but just in case . . . if one of the new gifts in your household happens to be a very large flat panel TV, don’t new tvsimply put the packaging out by the curb, for garbage pickup.

Instead, use a box cutter and slice the box into sections for (more anonymous) disposal.

I’m aware of at least one Twin Cities household last year that was targeted and ultimately broken into based on the packaging visible in their alley.

P.S.:  I don’t know about other Realtors, but I love large boxes; I use the sections as dividers for my “For Sale” signs, which otherwise get scratched up in my trunk.
