Witch’s Hat & Mini Witch’s Hat

Minneapolis’ Prospect Park neighborhood is famously home to “the Witch’s Hat,” an iconic water tower that evokes, well . . . you know.

FullSizeRender-5So, what’s the “mini witch’s hat?”

A private residence immediately east of The Birchwood Cafe (about 1 mile southwest in Minneapolis’ Seward neighborhood) with a distinctly witch-like spire.

According to the home’s owner, the spire is purely ornamental, and dates back to when the building housed a gas station.

Happy (and safe!) trick or treating!!
