“Get Me Outta Here!”
“We may be small, but we’re slow.”
–Cal Tech football team slogan
After record-breaking cold this Winter, the Twin Cities is now in the throes of record-breaking April precipitation.
I’d compare the local weather to Seattle . . . but that would be unfair to Seattle: that city is expecting record-breaking 80’s
today and tomorrow.
Meanwhile, today’s Twin Cities forecast is high 40’s and (still) more rain: with one day to go, April rainfall totals 6.09.”
That compares with 4.18″ in famously wet Seattle (or shall I say, “relatively arid”).
So, there you have it: Minneapolis – St. Paul combines “Seattle soggy” with bone-chilling cold and snow.
