Make That, “Nine Pounds Minutes To 11 a.m.”

“If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.”

–Proverb

The real estate corollary to the above?

“If you’re running (just a little bit) late for your own Broker Open . . . everything looks like a clock.”

Which is how I briefly mistook this scale at Rainbow, where I was rather hurriedly picking up lunch for visitors to my 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. open house.

Fortunately, the actual time was only 10:40 a.m. and my new listing — directly across from Edina Realty — was about seven minutes away.

Bottom line:  it all worked out OK.

P.S.:  It did help to dart across the street to the office when I realized I’d forgotten cups.
