Most Popular Girl and Boy Names (Or is That Boy and Girl Names?)
My 2014 real estate (non)predictions* are 
still to come, but here’s one with absolutely nothing scientific behind it: the most popular girl and boy names next year will be “Avery” and “Gideon.”
That’s based on the most anecdotal of samples — namely, from my extended social circle, where two Avery’s and one Gideon have popped up in the last couple months.
Move over, “Jackson” and “Sophia” . . . (apparently, the most popular 2013 names).
