Upgrading “Disused” Office Space

Fans of late, lamented sitcom “Will & Grace” will note that Grace’s fictional office space in Soho’s Puck Building is getting an upgrade.

puck buildingAccording to The NYT, Jared Kushner — perhaps better known as Donald Trump’s son-in-law — is revamping the upper floors into six, deluxe penthouses.

Asking price for the cheapest?

A cool $21 million.

Five swanky, new residences will “replace what had been disused* office space on the eighth and ninth floors, with a sixth to be built on the roof. “

P.S.:  yours truly has a personal connection to the Puck Building:  I got married there in 1999.

*Personally, I might have chosen “under-utilized” or “vacant” instead of “disused” — sounds too much like “diseased.”
