If you don’t know houses and square feet, a larger two-story family home with, say, 4 BR and 4 Baths, usually has something like 1,500 to 1,800 FSF on the first floor; another 1,500 or so on the 2nd level; and perhaps 1,000 FSF in the basement er, lower level.
Total: around 4,000 FSF for the whole home.
