Jay Leno “Headlines”

My favorite bit from Leno’s “Headlines” segment last Monday:  the picture of a “For Sale” home with a banner headline “Reduded!” prominently displayed above it.

According to Leno, at least, that’s what you call a home occupied by a “dude,” that then got a full makeover.

“Dude,” Defined

Which recalls one of the funnier stand-up comedy bits I heard, by (a then unknown) Rob Schneider recounting the various usages of the word “Dude.”

As in . . . Approval (“Dude!”); Disapproval (“d-u-d-e”); “Is that a stranger in my bedroom closet?”: (“d-u-u-u-de??’).

And so in that vein (I think Schneider topped out at 12 meanings).
