15 Showings — and a Deal! — Last Week

Where: 4336 Browndale Ave. in St. Louis Park.
What:  Stunning Craftsman bungalow with 3 BR/3BA and 3,000 FSF; potential for another +1,000 FSF in lower level with high ceilings, lookout windows.
Who:
listed by Edina Realty City Lakes agent Jacqui Day.
How much:
$795,000
When:
on MLS last Monday (6/18); now “Sold, Subject to Inspection.”

Each Monday morning, Edina Realty City Lakes manager Matt Loskota sends out a memo with — amongst other things — the previous week’s most popular listings.

Usually, showings are inversely correlated with price — in other words, the more expensive, the fewer the number of showings.

So it’s unusual, to say the least, to see that last week’s “showings winner” was Jacqui Day’s stunning new listing at 4393 Browndale in St. Louis Park, with 15 showings (and as of today, a signed deal).

Actually, make that 17 showings:  I showed it twice the previous weekend, just before it debuted on MLS.

How’d my clients know about it?

Through our office networking, and Edina Realty’s (Realtors-only) online clearinghouse, called “Network One.”

See, “Have a House/Need a House.”
