“Gee, That’s So Nice of You!”

It wasn’t Minnesota Nice that prompted me to repeatedly yield the right of way on the single file path up (and down) Camelback Mountain this morning.

I had no choice — I needed all those breaks to catch my breath!

I ultimately made it half-way, which I consider a moral victory.

More importantly, I made it down under my own power — which is more than I can say for at least one fellow hiker I saw this morning.

P.S.:  I’m with my family in Phoenix, just finishing a (too brief) vacation.
