No More Minnesota McMansions

John Murphy Reports has a nice post about which builders are putting up the most new residential construction in Minnesota these days.

What caught my eye:

–The list is (still) dominated by big, national developers like Lennar, Pulte/Centex, and D.R. Horton (#1, #2, and #3, respectively).   Mattamy (#5) is Canadian.

–The remainder appear to be larger regional ones like Rottlund.

–The price range has both dropped and become more compressed:  Rottlund is building the least expensive housing locally (ave. just over $200k); while the top end is a dead heat between Toll Bros. (ave. $622k) and Hanson (ave. $612k).

Check out John’s post for the entire list.
