Expiring Auto Lease
I’ve never leased a car before my current one, which means I’ve never had a car come off-lease before, either.
So, I don’t know if this has happened to anyone else, but as the remaining time on my lease winds down (I have until Labor Day), I find myself becoming increasingly self-conscious about my driving.
Even though I haven’t had an accident for years, there’s just something about the looming expiration that seems to tempt the fates.
In a miniscule way, I suppose it’s analogous to what soldiers feel as their deployment comes to an end.
