What’s a “zombie blog?”
A blog that, weeks or even months after the last post appeared, continues to attract visitors.
Exhibit A?
The earlier incarnation of this blog.
In fact, three months after switching from blogspot (“Model T”) to WordPress (“Porsche”), the older version of the City Lakes Real Estate blog regularly gets more visitors (still) on a daily basis — even though the last post on the former was January 5!
The two-part explanation: 1) the old blog has almost 2,000 original and archived posts vs. less than 200 on this blog; and 2) the search engines that drive the vast majority of Web traffic still haven’t discovered the new blog.
So, Google and Bing, here’s a little help: it’s http://RossKaplan.com
