Blizzards & Tornadoes Suddenly Not So Daunting

I’ve got to assume that I’m not the only area resident who suddenly feels a little less put upon by this season’s seemingly endless snow and winter.

While the Twin Cities may suffer from blizzards and subzero temperatures — and areas abutting rivers habitually risk flooding, especially this year — earthquakes and tsunami’s simply aren’t a worry locally.

As the footage from the Japanese earthquake and tsunami make abundantly clear, that’s certainly something that Minnesotans can be thankful for.

P.S.:  For those who want to provide assistance, it appears that the Red Cross is at the forefront of private relief efforts.
