You didn’t need to read the news or watch TV to know that Joe Biden resoundingly won most of yesterday’s primaries, and is now the presumptive Democrat nominee for President.

All you had to do was note the change in honorific accorded him by the mainstream media.

So, according to The New York Times, it’s no longer “Joe Biden” or “Mr. Biden.”

Now, it’s “former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.”

Who was the loser?

The junior United States Senator from Vermont, Bernard W. Sanders.**

I mean, “Bernie.”

**Confession: the “W.” middle initial is my creation — Bernie apparently doesn’t have one.
