Finally!

Notwithstanding a streak of 60’s(!) in February, cool damp weather in the Twin Cities this Spring has delayed trees budding and leaves opening.

That should change the next few days, with sunny, mild weather forecast through the weekend.

P.S.: Look closely and you’ll see not one but two trunks at the base of this tree, about 1/2 mile west of Minneapolis’ Cedar Lake in St. Louis Park’s Fern Hill neighborhood.

The tree — make that tree(s) — command a key intersection, which give passing motorists (and pedestrians) a treat this time of year.
