Do “Sin City” Real Estate Agents Have Saner Hours?

“When the weekend comes, whatever day of the week that might be for people of Las Vegas, it is very rare to find them on the strip.  They are at the park with their kids, riding the bike trails and hanging out by pools in the Summer.”

–Las Vegas magazine.

“My enemy’s enemy is my friend.”

–Ancient proverb.

No, not everyone in Las Vegas is a Realtor (my wife and I visited briefly earlier this Fall).

But, given the city’s focus on gambling and tourism, hundreds of thousands of workers in the hospitality industry there have odd, Realtor-type hours:  weekends, after-business hours, etc. (thankfully, no Realtors I know work graveyard shift).

All of which suggests that Las Vegas Realtors might actually have saner, Monday – Friday hours than their counterparts elsewhere.

(More) Conventional Hours

Think about it:  if Las Vegans disproportionately work evenings and weekends, when are they free?

Answer:  during business hours, Monday thru Friday.

Which means that their Realtors need to be free then as well.

Which means that local agents get their down time on the weekend, when everyone else is working.

There you have it:  become a Las Vegas Realtor, work sane(r) hours.
