(& Several Proud Parents)

Just to make sure no one could accuse me of being one of those parents who can’t shut up about their kid, I did a search of all previous 4,100(!) posts on this blog going back nine years, entering terms like “proud parent,” “bragging parent,” etc.

history_dayFinding none . . . here goes:  my 15 year-old son Jordan and his buddies Zachariah Wirtschafter and Ethan Kadet are headed to Washington, D.C. next month as National History Day Finalists.

They were selected for their documentary, “Fault Lines:  The Legacy of Partition,” discussing the 1947 partition of India into two countries, India and Pakistan, and its horrific aftermath.

They’re amongst just 60 Minnesota kids (out of 25,000 History Day participants) who were selected to represent the state.

Good luck in DC, guys!
