Car-Washing Window Closed for the Rest of the Week

“If you don’t like the weather . . . wait a minute.”

–Mark Twain

car washThat applied with a vengeance this weekend, when temp’s in the Twin Cities first jumped to 48 degrees (Saturday afternoon), and now are expected to plunge to 20 below tonight (Sunday).

Total swing from high to low, in less than 36 hours:  68(!) degrees.

Which explains why the car wash lines yesterday were easily 30 minutes long, all over town.

I finally got mine washed at 11:30 p.m. last night.

Waiting time:  a relatively quick 10 minutes or so.
