I don’t know about anyone else, but that’s my first association with the brand, new very vivid blue recycling carts that seem to have popped up overnight in practically every South Minneapolis alley (or at least, my neighborhood).

One “No Sort”

The new, “one sort” system recalls a Mad Magazine cartoon from the ’70’s (?) that shows a post office wall with side-by-side mail slots labeled “Local,” “National,” International, ” “Express,” “Overnight,” etc.

On the other side of the wall, all the slots funnel into a single collection basket.
