Handing Out Rain Snow Checks

No, 12-plus inches of snow and near-whiteout conditions in the Twin Cities don’t bode well for open houses this afternoon.

That’s not great news for would-be home sellers and agents holding their houses open.

However, the storm — and a temporarily halted housing market — is definitely good news for other people.

Like, clients of mine who want to see something that just hit the market Friday, has everything they want in the location they prefer, and is “priced to sell” (as they say).

However, they don’t return from out-of-town until Monday (weather permitting) — so the snow is buying them time.

P.S.:  it also buys a reprieve for a certain dog owner whose backyard would otherwise need some serious picking up.
