Measuring Success

It goes without saying that behind every successful Realtor, there is a less (in?)visible network of colleagues, support staff, and corporate/legal exec’s.

oscarIn my case, that consists of fellow Edina Realty – City Lakes agent Kathy Dick, who frequently spells me (and even pinch hits for me at the occasional closing!); City Lakes’ terrific front desk, who prospective customers meet first and interact with regularly; Edina Title’s expert closers, who make sure — literally — that all the legal “i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed”; and Edina Realty’s consistently stellar Office Managers and in-house counsel.

That last group can be counted on to reliably point the way and nip problems in the bud (sort of what Warren Buffett* does, but closer to the trenches); and who relate well to agents because . . . that’s what they used to be.

If my clients are consistently happy with my service, it’s only because I’m able to leverage so many other people’s talent.

2014 “President’s Circle” Award Winner

Sales volume certainly isn’t the only measure of real estate success.

PresCirc2c13But it’s an important one.

And — in a commission-based business — it’s the one directly tied to a Realtor’s income.

So, it’s nice to be recognized with Edina Realty’s “2014 President’s Circle” award for the very busy and productive year I just had.
